Enjoy countless options for unforgettable day trips right here in the Northwoods, or ride into the Upper Peninsula and pick up your trail passes in Land O’ Lakes along the way. Whichever direction you head, adventure is guaranteed!

ATV/UTV enthusiasts are right at home here—trail access is less than a quarter mile from the cabin along an approved route. From quick local rides to full-day adventures, you’ll find miles of well-maintained Northwoods trails and approved roads to explore.

And for dirt bike riders, the Tamarack Road Single-Track Trails are just minutes from Conover, offering roughly 22 miles of dedicated off-highway motorcycle riding. The system features something for every skill level:

Green Loop (8.5 miles) – perfect for beginners

Blue Loop (6.5 miles) – a great intermediate challenge

Black Loop (7.2 miles) – technical terrain for experienced riders

A Wisconsin DNR OHM permit is required, and the system is typically open early May through October 31st.
